Communicable Diseases also known as Infectious Diseases - Center for Disease Control. I know this site has been recently updated but you can look at specific diseases here if you're interested, as it is the most reputable source.


Learning Activity - Diagram
Research how malaria or Lyme disease is transmitted. Based on your research draw a diagram illustrating the transmission process and the organisms involved (malaria pathogen, mosquito vector, and human host; or Lyme disease pathogen, tick vector, and human host). You should provide a brief explanation of the role of each organism in the transmission cycle. A diagram can be created with technology - Google Drawing, Word, Web 2.0 tool or in a hard copy and hand in. Submit this assignment to Mrs. Smith (not the class) in Edmodo labeled Learning Activity 24.3.
